C & A Mental Health Committee and Learning Collaboratives

CBHA facilitates a monthly gathering of members who provide children’s mental health programming as well as learning collaboratives for Pathways to Success and School-Based Mental Health providers. This serves as a crucial platform for collaboration, learning, and advocacy within the community. Here’s how CBHA supports its members through these gatherings:

Engagement and Collaboration: The monthly meetings enable members to engage with one another, fostering collaboration and sharing of ideas and experiences related to children's mental health programming.

Information Sharing on State and Federal Developments: CBHA provides updates on new developments in state and federal policies affecting children's mental health. This information ensures that members stay informed about changes that could impact their services and operations.

Problem-Solving and Implementation Discussions: Members can discuss challenges and issues related to the implementation of new initiatives or programs. This collaborative approach helps identify solutions and best practices for effective implementation.

Establishment of Best Practices: CBHA facilitates discussions aimed at establishing best practices in children's mental health programming. By sharing successful strategies and approaches, members can enhance the quality and impact of their services.

Identifying Areas for Advocacy: The gatherings also serve as a forum for identifying key advocacy priorities related to children's mental health. Members can strategize advocacy efforts aimed at improving policies, funding, and support for children's behavioral health services.

Through these monthly meetings, CBHA not only builds a supportive community among its members but also strengthens their collective ability to advocate for policies and practices that benefit children and families in need of mental health services. This collaborative approach ensures that members are equipped with the knowledge, resources, and support necessary to deliver effective and responsive care within their communities.
