2016 Compensation and Benefits Survey Report
Over the last several years, the community behavioral healthcare labor market in Illinois has undergone a significant amount of transition. In one region of the state, workforce issues were identified as the number one problem impacting behavioral healthcare. Competition, a below market rate structure and budget cuts are said to be the main reasons for much of the turnover in many key positions in community behavioral health organizations.
The survey was developed to provide a profile of salaries and benefits of community behavioral health organizations in Illinois and to provide salary and benefit comparisons of organizations by regions and statewide.
The online survey was distributed to the CBHA members via email in November 2016. A total of 37 organizations or 58% of the CBHA membership completed the survey: Northeast–16, Northwest–5, Central–6 and South–10.
The report is available to CBHA members for $49 and non-members for $99. The report will be sent via email once payment is received.
*Please note that the information in this document is based on an organization’s 2016 salary and benefit packages.
